The Copa del Rey final between FC Barcelona and Sevilla will take place at the Wanda Metropolitano on Saturday April 21.
It is a repeat of the 2016 final which took place at Atletico Madrid’s old ground, which Barcelona won 2-0 in extra-time thanks to goals from Jordi Alba and Neymar.
The RFEF said on Monday: “After the meeting on February 12 it was agreed that the Metropolitano stadium will host the Copa del Rey final on April 21 between Barcelona and Sevilla.
“It will be the first final at Atletico’s stadium, a spectacular to place to enjoy Spanish football’s big party. The stadium has 67, 829 seats and will also be the host of the Champions League final in 2018-19.
“It was inaugurated on September 16, 2017, with Atletico Madrid vs Malaga.”
