According to SPORT's sources, Jasper Cillessen isn't an option Manchester City as they look to resolve their goalkeeper crisis. This is following the news that Claudio Bravo is set to miss the entire season through injury.
The Chilean goalkeeper snapped his Achilles tendon and is facing six months on the sidelines. This leaves Guardiola without a backup goalkeeper with the transfer window already closed in England.
During the summer a lot of speculation has surrounded Cillessen's future as the goalkeeper made it clear he would like to leave in order to gain regular playing time. Arsenal and Liverpool were two of the sides linked with moves for the Dutch stopper but they ended up signing someone else (Alisson and Leno respectively). Despite their unfortunate situation, City aren't considering a move for Cillessen.
