The big unknown at Barcelona is, without doubt, the name of the manager who will replace Luis Enrique.
Juan Carlos Unzue, Ernesto Valverde, Ronald Koeman, Eusebio, Oscar Garcia and Pizzi are six of the names that have been linked.
Now, according to Catalunya Radio, Laurent Blanc is also in the running, with reports suggesting Barça have contacted the French coach to see if he'd be interested.
The 51-year-old has been out of work since leaving PSG last summer and his plan is to return this year with a job abroad.
Blanc has various offers according to his agent to return to the game and would fit one of Barça's requirements: he played for the club during the 1996-97 season under Bobby Robson.
As a coach, Blanc has worked with Bordeaux (2007-2010), the French national team (2010- 2012) and most recently PSG (2013-16).
Among his honours he has been named French Manager of the Year twice (2009 and 2015) and has won 15 titles (four leagues) in France as a boss.
