Barcelona beat Espanyol 5-0 on Saturday to continue their perfect start to the La Liga season.
Lionel Messi scored a hat-trick and Gerard Pique and Luis Suarez were also on target in a one-sided Catalan derby.
Here are the player ratings:
Ter Stegen (6): A calm first half, but had to make one good save in the second half. Was saved by the post once, too.
Semedo (7): A good game from the Portugal international. Perfect in defence and created problems in attack. Disciplined tactically, too. Doubts about his singing have disappeared.
Pique (8): Great performance from the Catalan, who rounded it off with a goal. An absolute leader all over the pitch.
Umtiti (7): Made one error which could have cost his team, but overall was solid. One good block stopped a Baptistao goal and he was good tactically.
Alba (7): Two assists for Leo Messi demonstrate his worth in attack, but he’s more versatile than that. Did make one error, though, which nearly let Piatti in.
Busquets (8): Vital. A great performance in midfield, who is in good form at the start of the season. Given a rest late on with Juventus in mind.
Rakitic (8): Super game from the Croatian, above all in an extraordinary first half. Set up the first goal for Messi and almost scored his own after a great, driving run.
Iniesta (7): A good simply from the captain. Combined well with his team-mates and read the play well. Like Busquets, taken off with a nod to Juve.
Deulofeu (8): Got better as the game went on. Caused problems on the right, running at the opposition. A performance to suggest he does have a role to play this season.
Messi (10): What more can be said about the best player in the world?
Suarez (7): The Uruguayan kept going after a few missed chances and got his reward in stoppage time with a goal.
Dembele (7): Showed why Barça paid so much for him in the brief minutes he was on the pitch, setting up Suarez’s goal.
