Jasper Cillessen 6 - Could have done more for Cultural’s goal, but apart from that was solid.

Nelson Semedo 5 - The defender offers himself in attack but lacked accuracy in crossing. One of the worst performers.

Chumi 7 - Got on well in defence with Vermaelen, didn’t make it too complicated. Showed maturity.

Thomas Vermaelen 7 - The Belgian competed again after seven weeks out injured and did what was asked of him.

Miranda 6 - Went up his flank a lot, working with Alena, but did not create too much danger.

Ivan Rakitic 8 - Helped set up goals for Munir and Malcom, impressive showing with the armband on. Subbed at half-time.

Carles Alena 7 - Didn’t stop looking for the ball for the whole game, tried to link up well and was the first to put on pressure in the second half especially.

Orion Busquets 7 - Gave balance to the team, showed it’s not too big a stage. Valverde took him off at the break.

Denis Suarez 8 - Struck twice to vindicate himself. The first was Messi style with a diagonal. He knows his future is at stake.

Munir El Haddadi 7 - Scored the first goal with a sumptuous finish. Hit the post and could have grabbed more.

Malcom 7 - Grew into the game and scored the third goal with a header. Left the pitch in tears after suffering an injury.
