Groningen youngster Ludovit Reis is getting closer to joining Barcelona. The Dutch side's general director, Hans Nijland, has confirmed in an interview with Fox Sports that there's contact between the two clubs.
Nijland revealed there have been two meeting with Barcelona to speak about Reis's future but added that "nothing's closed yet, even though we're condiering the possibility of Reis moving to Barcelona."
Diairo AS have reported that the deal could be worth five million euros and, to start with, Reis would join Barça's B team with the option of training and playing for the first team -- a signing for the future.
Meanwhile, the 18-yea-rold has told Fox Sports that "Barcelona's interest can only be viewed as an honour. I am flattered they're watching me."
Reis would be a signing pushed through personally by Jose Maira Bakero, who has followed him for a while at Groningen now.
