Barcelona have responded to the reports that West Brom are threatening to report them to FIFA over the signing of Louie Barry this summer.
WBA, as well as criticising the way Barça signed the 16-year-old, claim they have still not been paid the 235,000 pounds they are due in compensation for development rights.
Sources at Barça have confirmed they have not settled their financial debt with the English side. However, they say that development rights don't have to be paid until they have received the relevant report from FIFA's committee for the protection of minors.
Barça feel that until they have that document, Louie Barry does not officially belong to the club and the operation has not been completed. It should go through soon, and then the club will make the payment to WBS.
Barry was one of Juvenil A's big signings this summer, turning down more money at PSG to sign for the Catalan club in July.
