FC Barcelona have just secured an agreement to travel to the United States during preseason where they’ll play two new friendlies: both against Italian side Napoli.
Barça are taking advantage of the Spanish Super Cup changes, which will now take place in Saudi Arabia in January, to extend their preseason tour. Those two extra matches will take place on the 7th and 11th August against Napoli.
The first match will take place in Miami and the other at Michigan University, which has a stadium that holds over 70,000. Barça have already played in Miami before when they took on Real Madrid in 2017.
This more or less completes Barça’s preseason schedule. It includes an Asian Tour as well as a return to the United States. The only match which is yet to receive a date is the Joan Gamper trophy.
