FC Barcelona are doing everything in their power to secure the signature of Luka Jovic by the end of next month. The Serbian forward has moved to the top of Barça's wish list, one which includes Valencia's Rodrigo Moreno as an alternative. Talks are at an advanced stage but the club are now putting pressure on Jovic to make a decision soon before interest from other sides becomes more concrete. It's possible another meeting could take place on Monday when Portugal face Serbia.
Barça have followed Jovic's progress this season and have been impressed by his goalscoring exploits. Conversations took place at the end of February about a potential switch both sides appear keen to make this move happen. The confidence from Barça's side is the fact they were the first to make their interest in the striker known. PSG and Bayern Munich are now in the picture too and if it's a question of money, PSG will feel confident of adding him to their already fearsome duo of Mbappe and Neymar.
The current strategy is to pressure Jovic into choosing Barça ahead of the riches on offer elsewhere. Jovic knows he wouldn't be an immediate starter at the Camp Nou but is happy to battle for a spot alongside Luis Suarez due to his competitive nature. On Monday, the transfer might move a step closer to completion and Barça are doing everything they can to make it happen.
