The first Catalan derby of the season is here. Barcelona and Girona butt heads on Sunday night at Camp Nou (8.45pm CET) with the need to take three points. Barcelona want to go back to the top of the table and Eusebio's side to remain in European contention.

Barcelona will not rotate too heavily it seems based on Valverde's words. The coach might put in Clement Lenglet for Samuel Umtiti to give the new signing some minutes ahead of the game against Tottenham at Wembley which Umtiti's suspended for.

The rest of the team is unlikely to change much. Barcelona played on Tuesday and the players have recovered since then.

Nelson Semedo, Denis Suarez, Munir El Haddadi, Arturo Vidal and Arthur are in the squad and will be hoping to get some minutes, while Rafinha, Vermaelen, Samper, Aleñá and Malcom are not included.T

Girona's squad is: Iraizoz, Bono, Bernardo, Alcalá, Granell, Stuani, Pere Pons, Portu, Borja García, Aday, Douglas Luiz, Juanpe, Roberts, Muniesa, Doumbia, Aleix García, Pedro Porro and Eric Montes.

URUGUAyAN GOAL BATTLE

One of the most interesting aspects will be the battle to score between the two Uruguayan forwards, Luis Suarez and Christhian Stuani. Both have played four league games and netted thrice.
