It's not been a great time for Gerard Deulofeu. The winger has not played since the Copa del Rey win against Real Murcia and now he's suffered an injury which will rule him out for upto 10 days.
Barcelona confirmed the injury on Friday, releasing a short statement revealing he would miss this weekend's game against Deportivo La Coruna.
The statement read: "Gerard Deulofeu will be out of action for seven to 10 days, after straining ligaments in his left knee during the Friday training session at the Ciutat Esportiva."
Therefore, he will miss Sunday's visit from Depor and his chances of being in the squad for the game against Real Madrid on Dec. 23 are slim, even if he does recover in time.
That's because Deulofeu's not had many minutes from Ernesto Valverde recently. He was not in the squad for the last two league games, with Paulinho and Paco Alcacer among those to have replaced him in the side.
