Ahead of the big LaLiga match between Barça and Atlético, Radomir Antic - who coached both teams - spoke to 'Goal' to give his opinions on the contest. One of the topics of debate was the future of Antoine Griezmann who has constantly been linked with a move to FC Barcelona.
"Griezmann is a number ten and Barcelona don't play with one. If they sign him, he'll end up on the bench because he won't find his place (in the team). Barcelona really don't need a Griezmann, but Real Madrid do," the Serbian declared.
As for Messi, Antic said he was concerned by the Argentine's pubis injury. "Messi has a problem in his pelvis area and that is really uncomfortable. He might be rested because they've got an important match against Manchester United but I don't think he will because he sat out the Villarreal game."
"Of course, LaLiga is he only place he can be rested now. You can't do that in the Copa del Rey final or the Champions League. Manchester United are a team which deserves respect and you need to play your best XI. The absence of Dembele, who is a player that doesn't have a natural replacement, could be important."
