FC Barcelona and Getafe have struck a deal for Marc Cucurella to join the Madrid-based club. The left-back still needs to agree to the move, though, for the transfer to be finalised.
Barça exercised their right to re-sign Cucurella from Eibar on Tuesday, paying four million euros for the defender after the Basque club had signed him for two million earlier this summer.
The Catalan club are aware of how Cucurella has developed thanks to the minutes given to him by José Luis Mendilibar, but don't have space for him next season in the squad.
Instead, they have re-signing him to sell him on for more. Getafe have made the most convincing offer.
