Arthur Melo, Barcelona's first signing ahead of the 2018/19 season, will arrive at the city on Wednesday afternoon. As SPORT revealed earlier, the club has already announced all of the acts surrounding Arthur's presentation which will take place over the 11th and 12th July.
When he arrives on Wednesday afternoon he'll go to Barcelona's offices at 19:00 for a photograph session. On Thursday there are four acts, each half an hour apart. It starts at 12:45 when he'll sign his contract on the President Suñol stage at the Camp Nou. At 13:15 he'll be officially presented on the pitch. At 13:45 he'll have another photograph session at the Camp Nou and finally, at 14:15, he'll hold his first press conference at the Auditori 1899.
However it appears the presentation of Arthur on the Camp Nou pitch won't be open to the public. The ongoing renovation work going on at the Camp Nou this summer means fans won't be able to see their new Brazilian star in the flesh just yet. This has forced Barcelona, because they can't guarantee the safety of those in attendence, to hold the presentation behind closed doors instead.
