Jordi Alba's hopeful Barcelona can repeat the treble they won four years ago this season. Things are going well under Ernesto Valverde and the left-back says there's a similar feel to the successful side which played under Luis Enrique.
Alba told Radio Marca: "The sensations are almost the same as in 2015 with the treble. We're in the Copa [final], we're still in the Champions League and we're going well in La Liga. But we're talking of two different coaches, two who work really well but it's difficult to compare. With Luis Enrique, things went sensationally. We won three titles and the sensations were good. If we were good, we noticed no one could beat us. Barcelona's quality now allows us to attack and score a lot of goals."
On playing with Lionel Messi, he added: "You have to think quickly to play with Leo. [Messi] is a different player, one who makes you better. The quality and work he's been producing in La Liga is ridiculous. It's an honour to play alongside him."
And what about Barça going back in for Antoine Griezmann? Alba said that "he's a great player. I don't know what happened but he decided to stay at Atletico Madrid. It's not my issue." h
