Luis Suarez: It hurts not to be with Uruguay, but I will support them to the maximum
As Uruguay prepare to kick off their Copa America campaign against Jamaica on Saturday night, FC Barcelona forward Luis Suarez has sent his teammates an emotional good luck message.
Suarez can't take part in this summer's tournament in Chile because of the ban he is currently serving for biting Italy's Giorgio Chiellini at last year's World Cup in Brazil.
"Today starts a beautiful challenge," he wrote on his Twitter account in Spanish.
"I have a lot of confidence in my teammates. All of Uruguay is with them...
"And I will support them to the maximum, even though it hurts a lot not to be there with you all. I wish you a lot of success for this debut. Come on Uruguay. COME ON!!!"
