Scandal! Sergio Ramos let off red card after clear foul

Sergio Ramos was lucky not to be sent off in the Club World Cup final with the score at 2-2.

The Real Madrid player was let off beacuse of the great incompetence of Zambian referee Janny Sikazwe.

In the 89th minute Ramos, already booked, stopped Mu with a clear foul. It was easily deserving of a yellow card. In fact the referee put his hand to his pocket to draw it out.

However the players around him caused him to doube himself, with Casemiro presenting himself to receive the booking, while the Japanese protested.

Sikazwe was unsure what to do and even though the Japanese players asked for him to look at the video replays, he did not give a card to Casemiro, or Ramos, or anyone.

Madrid went on to win 4-2, with this the clear factor in their win.
