Guardiola speaks about Yaya Toure's Manchester City future

Yaya Toure's future remains unknown as Pep Guardiola gets to work as Manchester City manager. 

The Ivory Coast international was with Guardiola at Barcelona, spending two great seasons working under him. 

However, since Toure left the club for Man City, his agent has criticised the Catalan coach for his mis-use of the midfielder. 

With this as the context, Guardiola's arrival at City had led to suggestions Toure would leave the club, something which has not yet happened. 

It was a topic which was addressed in the former Barça boss' first press conference. 

He said: "I [have] known Yaya for a long time. He did very well in Barcelona and here as well, so he is a huge talent.

"All the players that are here right now count on me, after that we see what will happen in the future, not just for Yaya but for the other players. While Yaya is here I count on him."
