Del Bosque gets angry with Fabregas in training

Spain's penultimate training session in Brazil descended into a farce when Vicente del Bosque turned on Cesc Fabregas for displaying a bad attitude.

Del Bosque stripped him of his bib, which had signified the starters for the match against Australia, and gave it to Xabi Alonso instead.

During the training session the line-up which had been selected to play on Monday were playing together, and the incident between Cesc and the Spain boss took everyone by surprise.

Del Bosque grew tired of Cesc's poor attitude and ordered him to take off his bib and instead put him on the team wearing black tops. Alonso received the Chelsea player's bib. At this point some of his colleagues had to calm Fabregas down.

As it was an open training session, everything took place in front of the watching media.

Asked in a press conference afterwards about the scene, Raul Albiol claimed he saw nothing out of place during the work out.

"I haven't seen anything strange," the former Real Madrid defender said.

"I guess it is just frustration from the team that we have been eliminated, nothing more.

"Obviously we were all desperate to qualify, Cesc as well, but I haven't seen anything strange with regards to Cesc."
