Real Madrid need Radamel Falcao and Arturo Vidal

Former Real Madrid star Guti has analysed the failure of Spain at the 2014 World Cup.

He was appalled by La Roja's performance but does not want Vicente del Bosque to leave.

He also says that Real Madrid should sign Arturo Vidal and Radamel Falcao.

--------------------------------------

On his coaching career: I'm not sure what my future holds but for now to work with Real Madrid and grow with them is an honour.

On his role model: The reference for any Spanish manager is Pep Guardiola for everything he has done at Barcelona, for his youth. After him, a few others. Del Bosque for the good work he's done in the dressing room. Mourinho for his character, he is special and defends his players well. Don't look at just one. Then you have to be yourself.

On Del Bosque's coaching: I spent a lot of my life by his side, not just in the first team but also at youth levels. He is a very wise and is not crazy, everything he does is for the good of the team.

On this failed World Cup: It was a difficult time for La Seleccion, not just for Vicente and the the players, for everybody. We were at a stage where an important group of players from Barcelona, who handle the game in midfield, had not had a good season with their club and that was reflected in Spain's play.

Del Bosque was stuck between a rock and a hard place. Take young players and do not qualify for the next round and get reproached for it. It was the same with the veterans as well. Hopefully we will have a fresh start.

On whether Xavi, Xabi Alonso and Villa deserved to go to Brazil: They deserved it completely. We must be eternally grateful to these guys for everything they did for Spain. For all they gave to us. I trusted them and they did a good job for Spain.

On if Del Bosque should leave: No, I do not think it would be good for him to go. He's doing a good job, looks to the youth like he did at Real Madrid.

On Iker Casillas: I love Iker a lot. I have seen how much he enjoys football and this time it looked strange, I did not see him enjoying his football. I hope that he will recover and be the Iker we all want him to be. If you put everything on a scale and how much he has given for Spain and Real Madrid, he is still massively in credit.

Iker has been in the Spain and Real Madrid teams at a high level for a long time under a lot of pressure and it takes its toll on everyone. I hope he recovers the will to keep on goalkeeping.

He should do what feels good to him, what feels comfortable. He must talk to his girlfriend and think about his child and then decide (if he wants to carry on). He has nothing to prove as he has already proved everything. If he does retire Real Madrid will still be very proud of him.

On what Real Madrid need: If they sell Morata, theny need a striker and a central midfielder. If I were involved in planning Real Madrid's next season Arturo Vidal and Falcao would be my main transfer targets. With those two players they would be complete and in with a great chance to win it.

On Luis Suarez: He is a very talented player but is not a pure No 9. He would work well in the team but we already have similar. We should bring in a different player, like Falcao.
