Rafa Benitez to be presented as Real Madrid's new coach next week

Real Madrid will name Rafa Benitez as their first team manager next week. The current Napoli boss is Florentino Perez's choice to replace Carlo Ancelotti, who was sacked on Monday night, at the Bernabeu. 

However, he cannot be presented until next week. Napoli still have to finish the Serie A season and they still have Champions League qualification up for grabs. They must beat Lazio in their final game to ensure they're in Europe's elite competition next season. 

Madrid will wait for the outcome of this weekend's match in Italy before presenting Benitez as their new coach. 

The Madrid-born coach still has to close the final details of his agreement with Los Blancos, but there are no doubts that he will be Ancelotti's replacement. 

Perez, who suggested on Monday night the new boss will speak Spanish, wants to present his new manager as soon as possible. Within seven days, Real Madrid's bench will have a new owner.
