Pique launches attack on Getafe president Torres

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique says everyone is really motivated for the Clasico at the Bernabeu on November 21.

"We're all turned on for the Clasico. That's why we are footballers - to play in games like this," he said after Barça's win over Villarreal on Sunday.

Pique also spoke about last week's incident at Getafe, when the players dressed in Halloween costumes and interrupted a press conference.

The defender was one of the protaganists in the incident, but he has no regrets.

"We will do it again next year," he added.

However, he did accept the blame for ruining Victor Rodriguez's press conference by mistake.

"We didn't know that a Getafe player was giving a press conference at that moment, we don't give them after our games," he expanded.

"It's true that was a lack of respect, but we didn't know, we just wanted to have a good time."

Pique also denied that Barcelona's players had left the dressing room in a mess, as some images have suggested, and blames Getafe president Angel Torres for the stories.

"We all know Torres is a Madrid fan and wants to be Madrid president one day, but to leak images of the dressing room like that, which we hadn't done, is a lack of respect," he finished.
