Lewandowski & Morata will say no to Madrid if Ronaldo's there

Two of the signings that Florentino Perez would like to make next season are Bayern Munich’s Polish striker Robert Lewandowski and Juventus’ Alvaro Morata, who Real Madrid can buy for 35 million euros due to a clause they inserted when they sold him to the Italian club. But Madrid’s president is facing a serious problem - and it’s not the cost of doing the deals (Lewandowski would be around 80 million euros). 

The problem is Cristiano Ronaldo. Both forwards have said signing for the club depends on the Portuguese international’s future. “If Cristiano is there, I won’t go,” Lewandowski has told people close to him. The Polish striker fears Ronaldo’s selfishness, especially given he’s formed part of a strong collective at Bayern under Pep Guardiola. 

It’s the same for Morata. The academy graduate doesn’t want to compete with Cristiano. He would prefer to be a starter at Juve than a substitute at Madrid. It’s likely that, in the end, he continues at the Serie A club, or that Madrid pay the buy-back fee and then sell him to the highest bidder. 

Florentino Perez has a problem with Cristiano Ronaldo and he knows it. For that reason he will look to sell him in the summer.
