De Gea and Muniain implicated in case involving sexual assault

A protected witness in the case against the porn company owned by Torbe - Ignacio Allende Fernandez - has implicated two footballers in the proceedings: David de Gea and Iker Muniain.

The witness' declaration signals Torbe out as the head of a prostitution ring which abused Spanish and foreign women, some of them under age.

All types of abuse were detailed, including one incident with Athletic Club player Muniain and another footballer - who has not been named - in a hotel in Madrid in 2012.

TP3, the codename of the protected witness, was left in a room with another girl, where Torbe told them that they had to be with these footballers and that they would receive plenty of money for doing so, eldiario.es, who have had access to court documents, has explained.

Following TP3's refusal, though, it's alleged that Torbe forced her into the encounter with Munian and the other unnamed football player.

It's claimed that Manchester United's De Gea was responsible for calling Torbe for her services, while early reports add that contact was maintained after the incident took place as they tried to keep the witness quiet.

WHAT IS THE 'TORBE CASE'?

De Gea and Muniain's possible ivolvement in the Torbe Case has led to the question: what is the Torbe Case?

On April 26, the actor, director and producer of porn films, Ignacio Allende Fernandez, was accused of sexual aggression and corruption of minors to film and distribute pornographic videos of teenagers. The lawsuit is under a gag order.

According to information at the time from sources close to the investigation, though, Torbe, who is known as the 'King of Spanish porn' due to his website Putalocura, is also accused of tax fraud and human trafficking.

He had previously been immersed in a similar investigation in 2006, when he was accused of filming a scene with a 16-year-old whom he had convinced in a nightclub with the promise of paying her 300 euros.

On that occasion he was found not guilty. He assured that he had been cheated by the girl and that he never accepted actresses who were not of a legal age to participate in his films.
