Florentino Perez wants to axe 10 men from Real Madrid, starting with Rafa

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is willing to get rid of 10 people from the club to try and improve the side next season.

First on the list is Rafa Benitez, who will likely not even make it to the end of the current season. The next defeat may be the end of him.

But the real revolution will take place in the squad. Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Toni Kroos, Jese, Isco, Alvaro Arbeloa, Keylor Navas and Denis Cheryshev are all potential departures.

The door would be open for Sergio Ramos to leave too, if Madrid received an offer over 40 million euros. According to Pipi Estrada on TV show El Chiringuito, Perez wants to raise around 200 million to help revamp the squad.

He considers Cristiano Ronaldo has paid off the fee the club shelled out for him so, at 31, geting around €60m for him would be good business. He has also had enough of Benzema's scandals.

Kroos, whose performances have been below par, and Isco, who is not first choice, can go. Navas too, because David de Gea is a prime target.

Perez considers Ramos to be one of the heads of his opposition in the dressing room and wants to sell him. Meanwhile, Jese, Arbeloa and Cheryshev would have no place in the new project.

As well as De Gea, Robert Lewandowski and Eden Hazard are targets as Perez tries to topple the powerful FC Barcelona.
