Filipe Luis has been banned for three games after his knee-high lunge on Lionel Messi.
The Atletico Madrid star was sent off for it before half-time in Barcelona's recent 2-1 win over his team at Camp Nou.
Atletico's Brazilian was punished for "violence in play" and will miss games against Eibar, Getafe and Villarreal.
With Diego Godin, who was sent off, and Juanfran, booked for the fifth time, also suspended for their next game, Eibar will have a chance to upset the capital club at the Vicente Calderon.
