Cristiano Ronaldo goes to Morocco despite Madrid ban

Cristiano Ronaldo has taken part in another mini-break to Morocco just days after it came to light Florentino Perez and coach Zinedine Zidane prohibited him from taking them.

According to the Huffington Post, the Portuguese star has taken advantage of the two days off the coach gave the squad to travel to the African country.

Tired of the footballers doing what they wanted, the president stopped them from making journeys during competition time. That includes stopping Sergio Ramos going to Seville.

However, Cristiano Ronaldo ignored the order after scoring a hat-trick against Espanyol. Zidane gave the players rest on Monday and Tuesday and Ronaldo took to the skies after the game, heading for Morocco.

It is known Ronaldo likes going there, to relax with his friends, including kick-boxer Badr Hari, around whom there is speculation the pair have a relationship.

After some bad results and Rafa Benitez's sacking, Florentino, with Zidane's support, decided the trips players were making were part of the problem - and in Ronaldo's case, negatively impacting on his performance.

The doubt now is if Zidane changed his mind and allowed the Portuguese to skip the presidential order or if the hat-trick he scored mollified Florentino.
