Caparros used a porn video to motivate Mallorca players

Andalusian coach Joaquin Caparros, in his era as Mallorca coach, used a porn video to motivate his players ahead of a game against Athletic, a vital match for the team to try and stay in the top flight.

Anderson Conceicao explained what happened in an interview with ESPN Brazil - he currently plays for Philadelphia Union. 

"In the team talk ahead of the game Caparros showed us a video with images from a porn film. We were shocked, we didn't understand anything of what we were watching."

The footballer added: "The coach wanted to raise our spirit, but we didn't get his idea. He told us that our tension in the game had to be the same as the porn actor." 

Match reports from the time said Mallorca did play with more intensity than in previous games, but Athletic won 1-0 and Mallorca ended up being relegated.
