Gareth Bale reaches deal with Real Madrid over new contract

Gareth Bale, Wales and Real Madrid forward, has reached a deal with Los Blancos to extend his contract according to The Sunday Express.

Manchester United were interested in the star but Madrid want to tie him down. His wage demands have not impressed the others in the squad, who don't think he should be so full of himself.

Bale, who wanted 17 million euros to renew his contract, will be paid it according to the Express. He will sign on until 2022 and become the second best paid player in the squad, behind only Cristiano Ronaldo.

Bale, whose contract ends in 2018, will go ahead of Sergio Ramos, and not many in the squad will approve of that.
