Barcelona defender Dani Alves is no longer wanted by Paris Saint Germain
Dani Alves is no longer wanted by Paris Saint Germain, according to L'Equipe.
The French newspaper's Friday edition says that they have discarded Alves from their list of options this summer, even though the Brazilian will be available on a free transfer.
L'Equipe say that Marquinhos can cover the right-back spot, which is currently occupied by Gregory Van de Wiel and Serge Aurier.
Van de Wiel's contract, which expires in June 2016, is currently being re-negotiated, but he wants more money than PSG are willing to offer.
Dani Alves' representative, Dinorah Santa Ana, had spent a few days negotiating in Paris.
