Palermo striker Paulo Dybala dreaming of playing with Barça's Lionel Messi

Palermo's star forward Paulo Dybala has lit up Serie A this season and is now dreaming of lining up alongside Barcelona's Lionel Messi. "On PlayStation I always choose Barcelona or Man City. I have never hid that I would like to play with Messi," said the man who is being chased by Juventus and several Premier League clubs.

That he's such a wanted player is not so strange given his spectacular form in Italy. Still just 21, he has exploded this season and already has 11 goals. He's become Palermo's go-to-man since joining for €12million in 2012. Now, he's valued at closer to €40m, which he considers "an exaggeration".

Dybala, not just a goal scorer but also very good technically, has already caught the attention of Gerardo 'Tata' Martino, the Argentine boss.

In an interview with 'Guerin Sportivo', he explained the motives which drove him to become a footballer. It was to fulfill a wish made by his father, who died of an illness when Dybala was just 15-years-old. "His dream was to have a son who made it in professional football," he explained emotionally. "Gonzalo or Mariano, my brothers, couldn't do it, so it had to be me."
