Ousmane Dembele agrees to sign for Borussia Dortmund

Barcelona target Ousmane Dembele has signed for Borussia Dortmund from Rennes. 

With 12 goals and five assists, the 18-year-old has shot into the spotlight and was snaffled up by the Bundesliga side, who gave him a contract until June 30, 2021.

Dembele said: “Dortmund have looked at me for a long time and have always been in close contact with me and their conduct has really impressed me. The concept of Borussia totally convinces me. I can’t wait to start playing games in the Signal Iduna Park in front of 80,000 people and to play in the Champions League.”

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund sporting director, Michael Zorc also spoke about the transfer 

“Ousmane can play almost in any position up front. He is strong one-on-one, can play with both feet, has a lot of skill and is quick and has an eye for goal," he explained.
