Yarmolenko hopes Barcelona will sign him in January window

Andriy Yarmolenko will not play for Barcelona... for now. The Urkraine forward hoped to sign for the club in August, but Barça made it clear it wasn't the right moment. Bascially, because of finances: the club want to square off the accounts before making another investment.

But Yarmolenko has not been discared by Robert Fernandez, the new sporting director. The idea is to sign him in January, when the club are once again allowed to make signings (FIFA's transfer ban will be up).

Meanwhile, Dinamo Kiev have been trying to cash in on the striker. An offer of 25 million euros was placed on the table by Premier League side Everton.

Dinamo were ready to sell their most important player, but the player was not ready to accept the terms offered by the English side. For a while now, his aim has been to sign for Barça. The Catalan club were ready to pay 20 million euros (five now, five in January and 10 next summer), but the offer never made it to Dinamo.

Instead, they preferred to wait until January, to see if he's required and to see if Luis Enrique wants him then. If he does, Yarmolenko would become a player Barcelona player. Although he would not be allowed to play in the Champions League, as he will take part in Dinamo Kiev's group matches against Chelsea, Porto and Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Nolito

Another player who could end up at Camp Nou in Janaury is Nolito, the Celta Vigo forward. He has never hidden his desire to return to Barça, where he played previously, although he did recently sign a new contract with Celta.

His release clause is 18 million euros, but some information suggests it will increase to 30 million now the market has closed. ESPN, though, have said Barça and Celta have an agreement which could see the player go for between 12 and 15 million... but only to the Blaugrana.
