Wenger: Barcelona players influence referee by shouting when fouled

Arsene Wenger accused Barcelona players of influencing the referee by 'shouting' every time they were fouled.

The Arsenal boss was not happy with the behaviour of the Blaugrana stars and made that very clear after the game in his press conference.

"When they go down they shout. They never go down silent," he said. "It influences the referee, every time."

However, he admitted the reason Arsenal were defeated was not because of any refereeing errors.

"I don't think we have lost the game because of the referee. We have to look at ourselves. Overall he (referee) has no major influence on the result of a game."
