Tottenham Hotspur make their interest for Sanabria firm

Tottenham Hotspur have contacted Roma to confirm their interest in signing Antonio Sanabria.

Having held recent negotiations with Barça over a possible move, talks have broken down and the 20-year-old is now considering other alternatives.

One of those options is Spurs, whose coach Mauricio Pochettino has affirmed to Sanabria that he wants to acquire his services.

The North London club are in pole position as they have formally conveyed to the Giallorossi their intentions to buy the player. Roma haven't set a starting price but it revolves around 15 million euros.

Talks between Tottenham and Sanabria are advanced but a deal is yet to be struck.

Barça, meanwhile, are still deciding between Nolito, Kevin Gamerio and Sanabria, all of whom would occupy an attacking position within the team.
