Sergi Roberto suffering Achilles tendon pain with Spain

The FIFA virus is coming for Barcelona once more. Samuel Umtiti was injured during France’s training session and now it seems that Sergi Roberto may have sustained a problem. He felt a problem with his Achilles, which stopped him participating in Spain’s 4-0 win over Macedonia. 

There is no doubt that Barcelona have cause to be worried, because there is no clear substitute for him in their side, considering Aleix Vidal’s position as an outcast. 

In principle he will stay with the Spain squad, with La Roja playing against England at Wembley on Tuesday. The Spanish national team are treating it as just as some simple pain rather than an injury, hoping he will recover in the coming days.
