Sergi Roberto admits Barça suffered a lot against Levante

Sergi Roberto was extremely satisfied with Barcelona's win over Levante, although not so much with the performance. However, he gave credit to the home side for their performance after Barça eventually prevailed 2-0 in Valencia on Sunday.

"We suffered right up until the end. We got ahead in the first half, but they were playing really well, pushing forward and pressing us. The truth is that we weren't comfortable, but we were able to get the win and we are happy," he said to Canal+ after Luis Enrique's 100th game in charge.

Sergi Roberto, though, doesn't feel the performance was a circumstance of the squad's fitness at this stage of the season. "Physically we are really good, but Levante pressed us a lot. They played a great game." In addition, he claimed "it was windy and we didn't know where the ball was going." But he didn't use it as an excuse: "Those are things that happen sometimes, but we have to play as we know how to, or at least try to."

On his participation this season he said that he is "very happy. I am playing a lot of minutes, which I was hoping for, but I have to continue working hard to play more minutes - in whatever position that may be."
