RAC1: Amazon could be Barça's new shirt sponsor
After a deal fell through with Japanese company Rakuten, Barça now face a choice between Qatar Airways and Amazon to sponsor the club's kit from next season.
According to RAC1, Amazon has become a serious competitor to Qatar Airways and a deal is expected to be agreed with one of them in the coming weeks. It's hoped this will be completed before the Blaugrana's first pre-season game against Celtic on July 30 in Dublin.
The figures reported show that Amazon's offer is still far from the 65 million euros proposed by Josep Maria Bartomeu that would satisfy the interests of the club.
Qatar Airways were Barça's shirt sponsor for the past three seasons, but their current deal expired on June 30 and must now renegotiate if they want to continue being a partner of the club.
