Pedro Rodriguez: I don't want to leave Barcelona

Pedro Rodriguez was unahppy with Barcelona technical secretary Robert Fernandez's claim he wants to leave the club.

After the Super Cup win over Sevilla he spoke on TV3, saying: "His statements are very unfortunate. People this shouldn't speak. He will have his reasons."

Pedro explained that he had barely spoken with Fernandez who had claimed that he told him he wanted to leave.

Asked if he was looking for the Barcelona exit, Pedro replied: "No, the answer is no. It's not a situation of money, but minutes. I'm ambitious, I always want the best, we will see what happens. Whether I go or stay, I'll always be with this team."

He had scored the decisive goal in Barcelona's 5-4 victory, but had to do it coming from the bench.

"I was very angry that I didn't start the game. I was disappointed beause I had more options without Neymar there." However he added: "I'm calm and happy for the goal and to keep winning titles with Barcelona."
