Neymar on Barça Brazil & always wanting to win

Neymar, who is injured, is still looking forward to the Club World Cup in Japan. The Brazilian forward has given an interview to Globoesport.com in which he spoke on various topics.

"It's a good opportunity. It's every player's dream to win a Club World Cup. If we keep doing what we've done this season, I'm sure we will return with the trophy," he said.

Asked abouth taking more responsibility at Barcelona, Neymar says its something he's always done. He replied: "From very young I've assumed responsibility. The fact that Messi was out recently didn't make me take more on. We have enough top level players to make sure that his absence wasn't noticed. Everyone on the team has responsibility, in that sense."

Neymar highlighted that FC Barcelona are always looking for more wins, more triumphs. T"he good thing about our team is that everyone likes winning and always wants to win and improve," he explained.

"We never settle for anything. We've played some good games, but we always want to be even better in the the next match. Playing for Barça is not the same as playing for any other club. It is hard to adapt here. Not every player can do it. In my case, I think that since January I've been doing well."

The BBQs

To illustrate the good atmosphere in the squad, Neymar explained they have a lot of barbecues together. "Every two months we meet after a training session to eat together, tell stories, laugh a bit," he said.

"We get on really well in training. My team-mates are good fun and they have a lot of stories to tell."

Olympic Games

Apart from with FC Barcelona, Neymar also likes the idea of winning with Brazil. "We know that we have much to improve on. I hope that it will be a good year in 2016 for the national team. There's the Olympic Games, a title Brazil don't have. We will play at home, too, so we have to win - we have to aim for the gold medal."

Neymar case

In terms of the courts' tax battle against him, Neymar said: "I'm maintaining my silence. It's my dad who is in charge of those matters. What most annoys me is that Santos have turned against us. I am sad, but I am also calm."
