Messi handed huge offer to change from Samsung to Huawei

Lionel Messi has received a mega offer to change one of his many sponsors.

Asian company Huawei plan to offer the Barcelona star in the region of five to six million euros annually on a contract of at least two years, according to Marketing Deportivo. If agreed, it would rob Samsung of one of their main ambassadors on a global level.

Apparently an agreement will be made official in the coming days by Huawei, a company who in recent years have began to link themselves with sport in a bid to expand their image around the world.

Messi’s contract with Huawei will be for two or three years and for each year he will be paid between five and six million euros, all of which will go directly to him, as FC Barcelona won’t have any image rights.

Huawei have become the third biggest presence in the world in terms of smartphones. They already have Real Madrid player James Rodriguez on their list of collaborators.
