Marc-Andre ter Stegen set to miss two weeks with injury

Marc-Andre ter Stegen's injury on Friday means he will not play against Alaves on Saturday, or in the following games against Celtic or Leganes.

The German goalkeeper suffered a muscular injury which will keep him out until the clash with Atletico Madrid on September 21, which is his objective to return by.

Ter Stegen has had baad luck with injuries, suffering one in pre-season that kept him out of the Spanish Super Cup and the opening day of the season.

He played one game, against Athletic Club, before this new injury. Jasper Cillessen and Jordi Masip are ready to fill in, with the former likely to be chosen by Luis Enrique.
