Luis Suarez has decided to abandon Liverpool

'The Sunday Times', a newspaper based in England, have published a story reporting that Luis Suarez has already taken the decision to leave England and the Premier League behind in favour of a move to la Liga BBVA.

Suarez is said to still be unhappy with the club's owners after they reneged on an agreement which would have allowed the Uruguayan to leave the Reds after they failed to secure a Champions League spot at the end of the 2012-13 season.

He is also not completely happy with his manager at Liverpool, Brendan Rodgers. Suarez missed the first five matches of last season suspended and Rodgers insinuated that they didn't miss him.

Suarez now has the opportunity to head to Spain, where he desires to play, with both Barcelona and Real Madrid wanting to sign him.

After scoring 31 league goals last season and sharing the European Golden Boot with Cristiano Ronaldo, the 27-year-old was named as the best player in the Premier League for the 2013-14 season.

The fee talked about is £67.9 million, although it is understood that price only stands for Madrid and Barca - English clubs would have to pay more.

However SPORT.es can reveal that Barcelona have already contacted the player's agent, Pere Guardiola, to see if the can reduce they price cited in the clause which amounts to around €80m
