Luis Enrique speaks about his future at Barça

In his first press conference ahead of the new campaign, Barça coach Luis Enrique was asked about his own contractual situation at the club.

The Asturian's deal runs until the end of this season, and he said:

"I will not decide my future until June 30. If it were down to me, I would make contracts for two weeks or a month at a time.

"The present is what appeals to me, the present excites me and I am focused on that."

When pressed on the topic, he added: "I want shorter contracts as then there would be no compensation or problems of that nature, also if you are unhappy or you do not perform, you can leave calmly.

"There is nothing to say on this matter. I will leave Barcelona the day that they get rid of me or when I do not have the strength to continue. This is what I will do until the last day of my contract.

"It will be at the end when I decide if we have achieved our objectives, if we have won titles, and what I will do."
