Luis Enrique not interested in talking about his contract situation

FC Barcelona coach Luis Enrique was not interested in discussing his future plans. On Saturday, no sooner than the 3-1 win over Celtic had finished, the coach was asked about his contract renewal and he said: "The club know my opinion already and I don't have anything to say. I already said what I was thinking about my renewal in my first press conference. I'm not interested at all in talking about it."

Lucho's deal expires on June 30, 2017 and the desire from the club was to renew his contract as soon as possible. However the coach does not want to deal with it until the end of the season.

He also spoke about Sergi Roberto's good performance, playing as a defensive pivote instead of at right-back where he is expected to feature most this season. "The truth is he has come back to play brilliantly. He's more than one player for us. Wherever he plays, he plays well. It's a delight for a coach to have a player of this level."

Regarding the game, the first friendly of the season, he didn't want to get too excited "because it's still very early". In any case, his overall reaction was "positive", thinking playing Celtic was "a good test".

On Aleix Vidal, who was the only player to play the entire game, he added: "He's trying to improve his physical level gradually and Aleix was at a good level throughout the game."
