The Barça coach wouldn't mind being replaced by his No.2

However, he wants to keep out of the debate on his replacement

Luis Enrique's assistant Juan Carlos Unzue has emerged as one of the strongest contenders to replace the Barcelona coach on the Camp Nou bench next season.

On Saturday, Luis Enrique was asked about Unzue twice and he made it clear he would have no problems if he was replaced by his No.2: "It's impossible for me to be angry with Juan Carlos, we've been friends for a long time."

The Barça boss ruled out that what happened between Pep Guardiola and Tito Vilanova -- a relationship that cooled after months of uncertainty and which also caused problems for Andoni Zubizarreta, who found himself in the middle -- could therefore repeat itself.

What Luis Enrique did not want to do those, at least publicly, was talk about who could take over from him.

"I think you all know my opinion from previous press conferences. I'm going to keep out of it, I think that's best for everyone," he said.

Luis Enrique also spoke about Sunday's game against Valencia: "They have always been a difficult opponent for us, not just here but in Valencia as well. It's been tough against them.

"They're a powerful team, which we will have to be careful about and keep in mind. We will approach the game in the best way possible against a side with a lot of quality players who will pose problems for us."
