Lionel Messi leaves Argentina camp to fly back to Barcelona
Leo Messi has abandoned the Argentina camp to head back to Barcelona, where he is expected to arrive first thing on Sunday morning. The star, who did not take part in training on Saturday, left in his training clothes on foot after a brief chat with coach Edgardo Bauza.
Messi, whom the AFA have found a flight for, will arrive in Barcelona and take tests on the groin problem he has had that stops him from featuring against Venezuela for his country.
He is unlikely to feature for his club against Alaves at the weekend, but Barcelona's medical team will be able to decide after seeing the damage.
