Leo Messi jokes about Pique as he collects Catalan award
Leo Messi congratulated his Barcelona team-mate Gerard Pique for winning the best Catalan sportsman of 2015 award, but couldn't help joking about him at the same time.
It is an award put together by the UFEC (Union of Federations of Catalan Sports) and Diario Sport, with the motive of celebrating Catalan Sport.
Pique was chosen as the winner of the prize and dedicated it to his parents, and at this moment, he became emotional.
For a short while he lost his voice, hititng his hand on his leg several times. And that's where his pal Messi decided to take the mick.
"How's the quadricep Geri? I hope it's ok!" wrote Messi on Instagram, then praising the defender for winning.
"I congratulate you for the prize!" he added, along with a video of Pique dedicating the award to his parents.
