Jordi Alba rested for Copa del Rey clash with Espanyol
FC Barcelona head to Cornella on Wednesday night with a 4-1 lead in the Copa del Rey last 16.
Luis Enrique has seen fit to rest Jordi Alba and Claudio Bravo, as well as cutting Douglas and Sandro Ramirez from the squad.
He published the list of selected players on the morning of the game, with Luis Suarez also absent, serving the first of a two-game suspension for goading Espanyol stars after the first leg.
Gerard Pique is in the list despite some believing he would also be rested after winding up Espanyol fans.
The squad for the game is: Ter Stegen, Masip, Alves, Pique. Bartra, Adriano, Vidal, Mathieu, Vermaelen, Sergi Roberto, Javier Mascherano, Andres Iniesta, Sergio Busquets, Ivan Rakitic, Arda Turan, Munir El Haddadi, Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr.
