Football Leaks reveal the details of Neymar's Barcelona contract

The website Football Leaks has published another contract from inside football. This time they have got hold of Neymar’s deal at Barcelona, publishing nearly 13 pages of details.

There are several pieces of interesting information to come from the leak, such as the fact the forward receives five million euros gross per season, as well as various other sums of money for personal and collective achievements with Barça.

For example, the club will pay him over one million euros more if he plays in 60 percent of matches. Champions League qualification, progression in Europe and titles are other bonuses written into the contract. 

One of the most revealing details is that the player is guaranteed to earn 45.9 million euros during his five year deal at Camp Nou. That means that if he hasn’t earned that much by 2018, the club must pay the difference. 

Neymar has a release clause of 190 million euros and for signing alone received 8.5 million euros. 

The Brazilian is not the first Blaugrana ‘victim’ of Football Leaks. Luis Suarez's transfer from Liverpool to Barcelona was also published.
